Privacy Notice

PACAI is a career-exploration tool. We believe you should know exactly what happens to your information when you use it - especially when you export or share results.

What we collect automatically

• Search input. The field of study or expertise you type into the explorer is sent to our server so we can generate relevant AI-adjacent career suggestions. We do not store these queries permanently.
• Basic analytics. We collect anonymous usage metrics (e.g., page views, feature usage) to improve the tool. No personally identifying information is included.

What happens when you export a PDF

When you click Download PDF, your current search results - including the career titles, summaries, skill lists, salary ranges, and learning paths for your selected region and experience level - are rendered into a PDF file entirely inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded to our servers. The PDF is generated locally and saved to your device.

What happens when you email a report

When you click Email and enter an address, we send the same report data (career titles, summaries, skills, salary ranges, and learning paths) to our email service so it can be delivered to the address you provided. We do not store your email address or the report contents permanently. The email is sent once and then discarded from our systems.

• We only use the email address you supply for the single delivery you requested.
• We do not subscribe you to newsletters or marketing lists.
• We do not share your email with third parties beyond the email-delivery provider.

Authentication and saved careers

If you choose to sign in (to save careers you like), we rely on a third-party authentication provider. We store only your user ID and the list of careers you have saved. We do not access your social-profile data beyond what is needed to create and maintain your account.

Cookies and tracking

We use minimal cookies strictly necessary for authentication and basic analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can delete your saved careers or your account at any time from the Saved page. If you have questions about this notice or want your data removed, contact the project owner.
